Help with the hustle
The boxes stay sealed. The rules don't have to be a mystery.
How Hustle XP works
You earn Hustle XP three ways:
• 3 XP for each store run you make yourself, even an empty one.
• 5 XP per $100 you spend at stores and on your own drop orders, based on what you actually pay after your rank discount.
• 5 XP per $100 of profit when you sell on Clout, including auto-sales, and at cons.
Why doesn't XP match my profit?
Your rank discount is XP-neutral on purpose. Every dollar it saves means a dollar less spending XP and a dollar more profit XP.
Profit XP lands when you sell. Stock you're holding for a con earns its profit XP at the con.
Losses never take XP away. That includes scams, chargebacks, refunds and losing sales.
Helpers earn less: Line Sitter and bot buys earn 1/4 XP. Marketplace buys earn none.
Scalpers Union members get 50% more XP.
In-game refunds and chargebacks
Accepting a refund request pays the buyer back the full price and returns the item at its original cost. The Clout fee and any shipping you paid stay spent.
Refusing keeps the money but costs a 1★ review and some followers. Some of those buyers file a claim and win: the price comes back out of your cash and the item stays gone.
A chargeback takes the price back, and the item is gone.
Playing on more than one device
Sign in with Apple or Google. On the website, choose “Already played? Sign in” on the start screen. In the app, go to Me, then Settings, then Sign in.
Your game moves to the device you sign in on, and the other device stops saving. Play on one device at a time: moves made on the old device after you switch don't save.
Guests stay on one device until they sign in.
Opening links inside another app
Links opened inside X, Instagram, Discord or another app may use that app's built-in browser. Google and Apple sign-in often don't work there.
Open scalpcity.app in Safari or Chrome before you start, so you can sign in and keep your game.
Global cons
Global cons run automatically every three hours, for players in the app and on the website. Set up in the Cons tab before the doors open.
Cook groups
Starter kitchens level up automatically when the pot reaches the next level.
Restocking
After each visit, a store restocks for a short while. The card shows “Restocking, back in” with the time.
